Lesson Overview…

[firstname]…

Man, the response on the last Funk lesson has been great! Part two is just as good and it’s going to accomplish a couple cool things for you – real quick!

You know, my big drum I’m always “BEATING” is to get you playing all over the neck of the guitar.

Well – well – well…

This lesson (combined with the last one) will have you going everywhere on the neck. All you need to do is wrap your brain around it and help it sink in. It will feel very natural after you practice it a few times. If you don’t get it the first time around, just be patient with yourself. Once it “clicks” you’ll find your self pulling off some really cool things.

“PULL-OFFS”…

You’ve probably heard the term and in fact, you may already be an “ace” at doing them. If not, no biggy!

Whether you are into soloing or just running through neat sounding chord progressions, “Pull-Offs” are a must have and they really take your playing to new levels. They help with speed and the overall texture of your style.

As we move ahead, we’ll be really using them a lot so – do practice them. You’ll be glad you did.

Alright, get ready and enjoy the lesson.

Talk to you soon.

Jerry

PS… The upload time for this lesson is enormous. It’s a huge file. Remember, when you click play, immediately click pause and just wait a few minutes for it to continue loading. Go find a cup of “Joe”, an extra pick, and come back. You should be good to go!

Peace. I hope you enjoy this lesson.
