Please click play, wait a couple seconds, and then click pause immediately.
Now, wait until the little bar at the bottom of the video gets all the way across the bottom of the video screen. Go get a cup of tea or coffee and your guitar. It should be finished by the time you get back. This will help the video run smoother.

Lesson Overview…

Hey [firstname]…

Get your ears on because this one has some cool things in it. At this point, we’re moving “Full Speed Ahead”!

I know that you are by now seeing some cool things happening in your playing – if you’re practicing (any at all). The fact of the matter is, things just start happening automatically – and this lesson will build on that. It takes full advantage of things we’ve already covered and adds something to it that should help you start recognizing licks when you hear them being played by your favorite guitarist.

It’s designed to make you think a little more and pay closer attention to what’s going on with your fingers, where they have been, and where they are going next. The cool thing about it is that so much of it will become “automatic”.

This means you’ll also start playing with more feel and when you do that, you’ll start seeing more and more that no matter where you are on the guitar neck, there are tons of possibilities right under (or over) where you are on any given string.

You are a guitarist [firstname] and I’m honored to get to work with you.

As always, if you ever need me, just let me know.
