No Boring Scales Allowed!

Lesson Overview…

Howdy [firstname]!

Things are fixin’ to get real cool. All I need for you to do is follow thru on this lesson. The next couple lessons will refer back to this and by the time you get to the end of the series, you’re gonna be real happy!

I’d just about bet the farm!

You know the first Cowboy Blues 101 lesson touched on the bottom strings in the Pentatonic scale. And as I said in that lesson, I DO NOT want you to just sit around sounding like you’re just rattling through the scale with no feeling or a hint of music. That stuff just doesn’t cut it!

Sure, you can practice the form of the scale so you know what makes the thing up but I intend to have you making some seriously cool music come out of those fingers and this will help … in a huge way!

[firstname]… This little beauty is designed to help you start coming up the strings and creating something cool in the process.

If you get confused at all, just watch the lesson a few times and do exactly what you see me doing. As you know you have a “Blueprint PDF” to refer to as well. Don’t get hung up on that. You always have the video.

After you get finished with the lesson, mix it up a little!

In other words, noodle around with it and play along with me. Run through the lick as you hear me playing that little tune and by all means [firstname], learn that little tune. Play it faster – then, play it slower.

We are three lessons away from doing something I call the “Trip-O-Let” and then we hit “Going Country – Not”.

If you like country… you’ll love that lesson. If you’re not into country… you’ll love it! Why?

Because I’ve designed it so you can make it sound like blues, rock, or country!
