The Shapes Overview

Diamonds. Squares. Rectangles… GEO shapes.

When you hear shapes in a guitar conversation, you typically think of the way your fingers travel in a scale. A common scale.

In this part of the LGF&E course, you’ll see shapes with a new view! You’ll see them in a way that will open up unlimited possibilities.

You’ll learn to take a geo shape and apply it to virtually any key and automatically travel up the neck or down the neck. Or if you choose, you’ll be able to effortlessly travel into a Front stage or Back Stage lick that will automatically have you  positioned to fall into additional licks or chords.

Our goal: Reaching “The Root Monkey”. We want to be liquid – and we will… together!

I’m amazed that instructors across the world don’t share this information with students.

It’s easy. It’s quick. And it opens up a world of possibilities that get you closer and closer to “The Root Monkey”.

P.S.   If you aren’t seeing actual lessons above the Modules and Stages overview menu (to your right), it simply means you aren’t a member of the main course (called Full Blown”). Once you are a member, you will see lessons begin unlocking that will take you down a path to understanding the guitar and how to actually play the thing.
