Hey Tribe!

You ready to roll? Don’t miss one word of this introduction. After that, head to the lesson below!

I sent you a VERY IMPORTANT email a day or two ago that had a recap of “The Bridge”. In that message, I told you that we were going to dive into soloing.

Man this is one of my favorite things about guitar.

To me, it’s the part of playing that makes a guitar SING…. and it brings tons of joy!

If you have the tools to do it, it will come very easy. Let me assure you, you have some world class tools to get you there – in a hurry! We just need to start building on them.

If you’ve ever watched one of your favorite players jam all over the guitar neck, you know what I mean when I say it’s just flat out COOL!

Today, we are going to dive HEAD FIRST into it and within 30 minutes from right now (where you are standing or sitting), you are going to start some really cool things. We will build on this very fast in “Full Blown”.

Stay tuned for more info on that course.

I should tell you that the peanuts I charge for the “Full Blown” course (very affordable) is 100% GUARANTEED and your investment is very small for the rewards you’ll get out of the course. More on that later…

Now if you happen to be one of my more advanced players, don’t you worry about a thing. I assure you, what I’m about to show you on playing solo’s all over the guitar will be different than any other method you may have tried in the past. This will be like ROCKET FUEL for your playing too!

Playing licks, riffs, solo’s, lead (or whatever you want to call it) makes playing so much more enjoyable and whether you are a seasoned player or a newbie… Hold on to your hat! I haven’t told you a “tall tale” yet have I?

I promise you this… “guitar legends” have been tapping into this stuff for years!

Once you practice up on it for just a little while, your friends, family, boyfriends and girlfriends will stop dead in their tracks to listen to you. I’ve literally seen people walk from one side of a guitar shop to the other – just so they could come and see how one of my students was doing what he was doing!

That’s cool to see somebody you’ve worked with (that you KNOW GOOD AND WELL was stuck in the “Top 10 Problems”) sitting there wearing it out and milking the LGFAE Full Blown System to death. You will too! I’m sure of it!

As we continue on to the course “Full Blown”, we’ll build on this with some of the coolest and quickest ways to learn. You’ll hear things coming out of your guitar and fingers that you never imagined – YES YOU!

I can assure you, you are NO DIFFERENT than the thousands of other players I’ve worked with who literally change their playing beyond belief!

I’m just glad I got to be a part of the process!

Go get your guitar and take your time on this lesson. Turn of your notifications from your phone and facebook – you’ll be glad you did!

Go over this lesson a few times and then apply “The Triple Factor” to it!!!

This lesson is powerful and it will also show you the recording quality of what’s in “Full Blown”. After you do the Cowboy Blues lesson, check out the video below it.

Priiiittttttty Coooolll Stuffff!

Saddle Up!

Have fun and if you need me, I’m yours!

Your guitar picking pal,

~ Jerry

  5. Jerry I really like your lessons, I just saw your video on the pentatonic scales. I have been practicing. but I don’t have the right thumb I think, I see players with their thumb that curls back mine is like a straight board and I have trouble with the lead playing or scale playing, any advice because I think I have a bad habit of wrapping my thumb around the neck to much.

  32. phil says:

    Hi Jerry..
great lesson.. been doing pentatonics since i first picked up my guitar and yup.. going up and down does not sound to good bro. it is to simple for mere mortals to even contemplate playing outside of the pentatonic shape and now we all know we have somewhere to go ( LGFAE ) 12 frets up….
    thanks
    phil.

  33. Dave says:

Great Stuff! I am starting to get hooked on your method of teaching,a lot easier than others to follow. Thanks!!!

  34. Nick says:

    Jerry
As a newbie, this is great stuff- thanks for sharing this critical knowledge. It will make my learning and playing much more enjoyable.
It could be even greater if you could tab out the cool licks you demonstrate!

  35. RayGil says:

Awesome Jerry, Love what your doing with the Pentatonic scale, your making practising the guitar fun, and I really feel we are getting somewhere…..At Long Last! There is light at the end of the tunnel. Well done, I tip my cowboy hat in your direction. :-)

  36. steve says:

well done again jerry…heck, what can i say?…sometimes i guess some of us just can’t see the forest for the trees…in my case, you really took care of that little problem…when i started the cowboy blues lesson and you were explaining the notes of the pentatonic…automatically my brain was thinking…heck, all i gotta do is move this whole scale to the 17th fret and i can slide back and forth…started doin’ it while you were explaining adding the blue notes..you taught me to think that way earlier…gotta admit, i love it when you choke..’cause i choke too…no offense…another great lesson..thanks again for everything…

    steve

    NOTE FROM JERRY:
    Steve,

Thanks for the comment. You got it. The trees still get in my way brother… Sometimes it just takes a little looking around them.

In terms of choking – If I had a penny for every time I choked, I’d have enough copper to run wire Tennessee to California and back a few times. BUT!!!!! Listen to your chokes! Many times, they’ll provide a unique lick you’d never think of. I’d call that “Gold In Them There Hills”.

Practice the “Tripe Factor” not only that but on everything you know. You’ll be amazed at what comes out of your fingers and guitar.

    Thanks again!

    Jerry

    P.S.
The 1,2,3,4, 2,3,4 have made it so my fingers

  56. Michael Harmon says:

Jerry I’m one of those annoying people who have practiced the pentatonic scale up and down ad-nauseum without throwing any variation in it. Subsequently I became sick of it and stopped practicing it. You’ve made a really good point about changing things up, but more importantly you’ve SHOWED me an example of how easy it is to do.

I’m currently working on the bridge solo to Stairway To Heaven. As I work on it, I’m beginning to see the relationship between what Jimmy Page wrote, and what you’re trying to teach me. In other words, it fits.

Feel free to liberally use the fret hand camera insert. It really helps to see what you’re doing more clearly. Thank you for all your help. I’m having a blast!

    Best,

    ~Mike
